Private tutor in Washington, DC

Education

Current Graduate Student studying Security Studies at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. Currently hold B.A. in Political Science and History with Honors from Vanderbilt University (Phi Beta Kappa)

Experience

I have worked as a tutor since junior high school, and am particularly strong at working with students from multi-cultural and ESL backgrounds. I scored a 2270 (aka 1470, minus writing portion) on the SAT and a 32 on the ACT, as well as became an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction while in high school (earned 5's on US History, European History, Chemistry, English Composition, English Language, and World History exams). I graduated from Vanderbilt University with two degrees and Honors in Political Science, and was initiated into Phi Beta Kappa. Likewise, I am the proud big sister of a current college student, and am very understanding of the challenges faced by high school students and how to overcome them.
