Experience
I've tutored children in math, science, english, social studies, music and art both in an elementary school setting and as volunteer work. My strongest subject is math (perfect score on math ACT). I would love to be a tutor because I love working with children. I was a camp counselor at an overnight camp in Maine, which really prepared me to deal with any situation. I've also worked at my elementary school as a teaching assistant for grades kindergarten through 5th, which was a very rewarding experience. While I am a business major at The George Washington University, I've had quite a bit of experience with children and tutoring. I also worked at Kangaroo U as a supervisor when I was in high school - a children's party planning company. I've always felt that I get along great with children, which in turn makes for effective tutoring.
