Experience-I tutored French to peers in High School in order to prepare for the French Baccalaureat exam (2006-2009)
-I tutored UVA athletes in French (FREN 1050 and FREN 2010) through the Cavalier Athletic Support Team. (Fall 2011)
-SAT French Score: 800
-I love tutoring and seeing my students improve their French. French is one of my favorite things in the world, and sharing it with other people is very gratifying.
-Classes I've taken at UVA include English/French translation, Caribbean Literature, 18th and 20th century literature and Baudelaire's writings. I am very good at grammar, which I studied up until the end of high school.
HobbiesHobbies: viola, chamber music, 90's TV shows (think Friends, Seinfeld, and Freaks and Geeks), learning Spanish and other foreign languages, reading 19th and 20th century French literature, and reading about social justice issues in the US.
I love teaching French and am happy to adapt to your learning style and specific use (SAT, conversation, college classes, etc.)
