Education

I'm a senior at American University majoring in Spanish Studies with a Translation Certificate and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate. I also have a specialization in Arabic Language. I've always been on the Dean's List.

Experience

I've tutored students in English and Spanish for years. I used to help international students out as a conversation partner in Philadelphia. I worked with students from China, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. I also tutored a middle school student in Spanish and Math. While studying abroad in Spain, I interned at a bilingual school and taught English to students from ages 8 to 18. I also had a few conversation partners who I helped with English. Right now, I am teaching English, Math, Art and Science to Elementary School students at a summer camp in DC. I am also teaching an ESL class once a week to immigrants in the area.
