I was the salutatorian of my graduating class and took community college classes starting in the 9th grade (received "A"s in my English classes including Composition and Critical Thinking- the highest level requirement for non-English majors- and in Political Science 001 and College Intermediate Algebra).

I'm a college student originally from Los Angeles who has interests in a lot of different areas; one of my greatest passions is English history (particularly Tudor) and music. I play the piano (started when I was 11) and have studied at the Colburn School for a few months. I know the basic of violin and oboe. Other than that, I love to have close friends and engage in discussion. I also love trying new things (like food) and exploring new places. I'm really into soccer (though I don't play it) and I like to go hiking. Overall, although I'm really into studying and believe in the importance of academics, I also believe it's essential to have fun with what you're doing and to enjoy what you're learning (at least most of the time).
