Private tutor in Washington, DC

Education

MBA -- international business (University of Denver) BA -- political science and economics (University of Winnipeg, Yeshiva University) 2 years French language studies - Alliance Francaise of Washington DC ESL certificate (International Language Institute, Washington DC)

Experience

I'd like to be a tutor because I feel I can share a wide range of expertise, and I like helping people, am good at making complex subjects simple and understandable, and have patience. In the past I have tutored ESL while living in France, and during graduate school in the United States I helped many fellow students to organize their writing. I got very high scores on the SAT, GMAT, and GRE, and can tutor for any of these. In general, I've traveled to many countries, have a very broad perspective, and can work with students from many different backgrounds.

Hobbies

My hobbies include international travel and learning foreign languages, as well as watching movies, reading, and going to the gym. I have a passion for history and for understanding "how did things get to be the way they are." I like both numbers and words, and am equally comfortable with math or with literary topics.
