Education

B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with a concentration in accounting. I just graduated in May 2014. I have 150 credits hours, which includes 24 accounting credit hours.

Experience

I have a years worth of experience tutoring college students taking introductory financial and/or managerial (cost) accounting . GW/Georgetown students taking intro accounting classes should consider me if they are looking for help. I live in the Foggy Bottom area. I also have voluntary tutoring experience with family and friends at the elementary, junior high, and high school level. I am currently studying for the Certified Public Accounting exams. I have taken and passed the FAR section (85) and Audit section (92). If you are taking either of these exams via a self-study route, I have plenty of materials and notes to help get you through it! All of the material is very fresh to me! I also work with a government contracting team at a D.C. economic consulting firm. I use cost accounting techniques on a day to day basis, building rate models and advising clients on how to structure their accounting systems to remain competitive.
