Experience
I received my B.A. from Washington University, where I completed a double major in Art History & Archaeology and History. I am currently at Southern Methodist University where I am working toward my master's degree in Art History. I have tutored and taught throughout my college career, and have enjoyed working with students of many different ages, from kindergarteners to high school seniors. I was able to share my passion for medieval art with students during my internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where I led children's tours of the Cloisters. I am also a member of the Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society, which promotes youth literacy. Our division supported the placement of low-income students into elite college preparatory schools with academic and financial support. We tutored our students multiple times each week, and we were all expected to tutor a broad range of topics, including history, geometry, biology, English, and many others! Though I am able to tutor all of these subjects, I am most passionate about assisting students in preparing for standardized tests like the ACT, PSAT, and SAT. Scoring well on one of these tests can truly make your dreams come true! When I'm not preparing my students for success, I'm cooking, relaxing, or enjoying a good game of tennis!
