Experience

I am a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA where I obtained a major in English. I had the privilege of being awarded some prestigious honors when I did my senior thesis. I loved being able to help others as far back as high school and often volunteered to assist classmates with problem subjects.I am qualified to tutor English and language arts in many areas. I also have the expertise to assist my students with the reading and writing part of the SAT. I thoroughly enjoy writing and feel it's one of the best ways to express yourself. Being able to write well is crucial to having the amount of success that you want in life, as well. I know that making learning fun is essential for all of my students to get the most out of the lessons I teach. I try to come up with different techniques that help my teaching be more fun and interesting. I love playing the cello and listening to different types of music. I like being active and staying fit, and running helps me do this when I have the time. I'm also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
