Experience
The best aspect of being a tutor is experiencing the growth and success my students achieve in academics. I have worked with students on both long and short-term periods, and value the experience equally; however, there is something about being able to build a lasting relationship with a student, as they continue their academic endeavors. I believe that education is important for young people, and I strive to provide a strong base for them as they move forward in life. I completed my undergraduate studies at Dickinson College, where I earned my bachelor's in International Business and Management, with a German Language minor. During my undergrad studies, I was able to study at the University of Bremen in Germany. This helped to solidify my German language skills. I went on to earn my master's in International Affairs at the George Washington University. While pursuing my grad work, I was able to volunteer in Washington, D.C. to work with high school inner city students through a mentor and tutor program. I tutored almost every subject applicable to high school.Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, jogging, reading, cooking, and catching up on foreign affairs.
