I am new to the D.C area and currently help run education programs in Ghana. I love travelling, reading and discussing global policy issues, experimenting with new food and playing soccer. I like to adopt interactive learning techniques and shy away from teaching as if students are empty vessels requiring "education". I focus more towards identifying and developing core competencies, understanding individual strengths and weaknesses and developing creative learning techniques that involve real world situations.
