Private tutor in Washington, DC
Education
Student at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, studying International Politics with a focus in International Law, Ethics, and Institutions.
Experience
I have a lot of experience working with students in writing and editing. I taught English to middle school students through the DC Schools Program. At Georgetown, I was a senior editor at the local alt-weekly for several years. Additionally, I graduated from high school with an IB diploma, so I have knowledge in each of the six required disciplines, as well as an understanding of how the Extended Essay works, etc. I scored a 7 in HL English, a 5 in HL Biology, and a 6 in HL History.

Hobbies
My hobbies are listening to NPR and reading long articles about obscure subjects. I also enjoy visiting museums—modern art is a particular favorite of mine. Another pastime is design—fashion and architecture in particular. As a student, I've often been told that I have a particular talent for thinking outside the box, and I enjoy creating new, fresh tactics to tackle difficult subjects, whether it be a specific essay question or overall study habits. I grew up overseas for most of my life, so I understand what it's like to hop across the globe with friends on all continents. I chose, however, to come to a university in the United States because I am passionate about domestic American politics.
