Education

Washington University in St Louis - BA, English , University of Sussex - MA, International Relations

Experience

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Literature and English, and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations. I attended both Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Sussex. I taught English as a Second Language (also known as ELL) in Taiwan to individuals of many different ages and levels of comprehension, including adults. I also held an editing and writing position at a publishing company in Taiwan. I worked primarily with English curricula focused on grammar and language. Teaching is a passion of mine. I love the experience and relationships that come from interacting with many different students and communities. I have experience tutoring ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, English, Literature (World, American, British, Shakespeare, etc.) , Phonics, Political Science, Geography, and U.S. History. I also can work with students in A.P. Psychology, English Language and Composition, Human Geography, and  U.S. Government and Politics. Outside of teaching, I'm interested in politics and advocacy issues.
