ExperienceI have extensive experience as a tutor both one-on-one and as the leader of an entire class. I worked for two years with the Columbus Literacy Council working with adult students in reading and writing, English comprehension, ESOL, and American Citizenship.
I scored a 1300 of 1600 on my SAT and a 1380 on my GRE - with a 5.0 on the writing portion.
I was on Dean's List for 9 quarters during my undergraduate career and served as the vice-president of the undergraduate history honorary. I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Alpha Theta, and Pi Sigma Alpha.
HobbiesI have rather eclectic tastes academically. The majority of my coursework pertained to political theory and historical analysis. However, I also have some capacity in Spanish and Arabic, and an intense interest in many other areas of study. I keep up with current events and developments in science and am a huge fan of astronomy. I also have a nearly photographic memory, which aids greatly in my personal pursuits.
