Experience

I have been tutoring at American University for the past two years. I am able to cultivate strong relationships with my students and identify with them on a personal level. I am able to put myself in their shoes, which helps me to have patience with students. I believe that these characteristics help me to be a more successful tutor. I am qualified to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects. I can teach English, ESL, ELL, writing, reading, all levels of Spanish, AP Spanish, and AP Spanish literature and culture. I can also teach American history, European history, AP U.S. History, AP U.S. Government and Politics, social studies, economics, geography, AP Human Geography, business, and middle school math skills. I also excel at public speaking and essay editing tutoring.I am located in Washington, D.C., and in my spare time I enjoy learning about current events, spending time with friends, exploring the great outdoors, and playing basketball.
