I love to teach and help people learn, hands down. There is nothing more satisfying then looking at information, internalizing it, understanding it, then being able to articulate it back and remember it. It is empowering and encouraging, and that I what I want to help people find and see. In college, I was a writing minor. I love to write, and help people to realize how fun and creative they can be with writing. I am aware though that there is a time and place for creative writing. Papers and writing pieces during school are academic, and I am able to help people with those as well.

Hobbies
I love to be outdoors! I hike, camp, and am a runner. I played 8 years of soccer growing up, and still love to kick it around. I lived in California growing up so being outdoors was a must. I went on a lot of family vacations to Yosemite National Park! I love to read! Hawthorne, Morrison, and Fitzgerald are some of my favorite authors. I love a good movie as well! I am a nut for the Oscars. It is my mission every year to watch most of the movies being nominated. I am also a pretty big music buff! From a young age, I loved to sing and dance. I would make all my siblings be my audience while I put on, "Shows," for them. Hope we are a good fit!
