Experience
My unique background in science, communication, and the arts makes me an agile and approachable tutor. I studied at both Clark Atlanta University and Harvard University, and my experiences include working on science policies at the White House, researching at Harvard Medical School, and acting in film and television. This diverse range of experience serves me well as I work with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. As an educator, I'm excited to offer my students expertise in elementary school math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, differential equations, biology, chemistry, honors chemistry, organic chemistry, college essays, writing, essay editing, life sciences, English, general math courses, and general science classes. I'm particularly passionate about fostering the educational and professional advancement of our youth, along with creatively using media to inspire and educate people about professional possibilities within the world of science. As a result, I naturally bring a sense of encouragement and motivation to my work with my pupils. When I'm not in the classroom with my students, I enjoy writing poetry, going to movies, reading, and creating videos focused on professional development in science careers.
