I am a tutor of mathematics, reading, biology, chemistry, and Korean at just about any level. While my career aspirations lie in medicine, I served in a post graduate program working with third graders in Philadelphia. My goal was to provide math and literacy support and help them stay on a track to graduating high school.In May 2014, I graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. I have a profound interest in the human brain and its effect on thought processes, body movement, and our actions. I will soon work at the National Institute of Mental Health, studying Schizophrenia, a debilitating brain disease that affects many people around the world. Using structural and functional imaging, I hope to help find the pathogenesis that underlies this complex, pervasive disease.Ultimately, I strive for a career in pediatric medicine. I've worked at City Year and at the NIH. I snowboard during the winter so my short-term goal is to learn one new trick before medical school. I play tennis, read, run outdoors, go biking, and try new food and cuisines in my free time. Most importantly, I'm looking forward to meeting new people in my tutoring capacity.
