Experience
-Tutor for 1 year in most subjects -High School Science Teacher -Taught: Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science -32 on the ACT Science Section -Eagle Scout I have taught Special Education children and ESL/ELL students. My philosophy is to try to find some common ground with your student and engage them on their level, with what they enjoy, so they don't realize they are learning. I used to be a Director of a tutoring center. As a director I came up with academic plans for each student, and talked with them about plans beyond their subjects they needed help on. I know the pacing that is needed to get your child to succeed and I measure my success by test scores and measurable improvement. In addition to tutoring a subject, I have helped my students apply for colleges, loans and scholarships.
