I'm from Washington, D.C. I graduated from Lawrence University with an honors degree in French and Francophone Studies, and a minor in International Relations. I have a deep interest in culture and history, as well as the arts. I'm very proud of the fact that more than one paper I have written has been selected to be presented at conferences in my area. I've won a number of awards for my writing style.After I graduated from university, I got a job teaching English overseas. I worked at a high school located in Nates, France. I'm currently employed at Oceana, the worldwide institution whose sole purpose is ocean conservation.I have focused on gaining experience working with learners at different grade levels and in a number of subjects. I really enjoy working with students one on one and providing assistance as they meet their learning goals.Presently, I'm available to provide tutoring help in French, American History, European History, SAT (Writing, Subject Tests), PSAT (Writing Skills, Social Studies), ACT (Writing), and Advanced Placement (Comparative Government and Politics, French Language and Culture, United States History, French 2-4, US Government & Politics).My outside interests are dancing, yoga, and cooking.
