Experience

My name is Mano. I grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and Lyon, France. So, I am a native speaker of Armenian, French and Arabic and am fluent in Turkish. I am a graduate of Boston University where I majored in International Relations and Economics and minored in Business. I have 3 years of experience of tutoring French, Arabic and Turkish to learners of any age: from beginners to advanced level speakers. I also have been conducting research for professors at MIT and BU as well as translating documents for them from Arabic, French and Turkish into Arabic. Currently, I am a research assistant at a leading foreign policy think tank in Washington, DC where I focus on the Middle East and Eurasia. As someone who comes from a multicultural background, I love exposing my students to the culture and the history of the language and area. In my free time, I love reading, running and biking and even more so, learning new languages, as I am learning Farsi at the moment.
