I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a master's degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I am certified to teach English, Science, Social Studies, and Math to middle school students. I have been teaching for three years and I love working with first graders the most. Additionally, I enjoy teaching students in the third and fifth grades, as well.I enjoy seeing my students get the point of the lesson and the acknowledgement that shows on their face when they do. This shows me I'm doing a good job and this gives me a great deal of personal satisfaction. I work hard to make school more of a fun and exciting time for my kids to learn and hope they truly enjoy it. It's a much better experience for the student when the learning process is enjoyed.My hobbies include taking the time to read and spending time with my family. I also love being outdoors when I can and enjoy swimming a great deal.
