Experience
I have a bachelor's degree in international affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During college, I was a research intern in the White House's Communication Office. I was also a fellow in Public Policy and International Affairs at Princeton. During my fellowship, I played a role in designing recommendations and solutions for the United States and European Community collaboration on Afghanistan after NATO. Another area of emphasis during my college years was work in mental health and disability awareness. I founded Rethink, which is designed to create an environment for people with physical and mental disabilities that incorporates them more fully into society. I also was active in many leadership organizations, including the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society.I currently work as a policy analyst for the Department of Health and Human Services, where I focus on health information privacy and security. I am a native English speaker, and I also speak Urdu, Hindi, and Gujarati. I am a native of Dublin, Georgia, which is about two hours from Atlanta. Earlier this year, I moved to Washington, D.C., and my favorite place in the city is the U Street area. Outside of work, I like to paint, dance, write, and travel.
