Experience
I am a former high school Public Forum Debate Coach, working with debaters from Brentwood High School from the fall of 2013 until the winter of 2014. I recently graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. I have extensive knowledge of a wide variety of authors, but during my undergraduate career I specifically focused on Political Theory, Philosophy of Religion and God, and Modern Philosophy. I scored a 31 composite on the ACT with a 34 in Reading, and I scored a 2060 composite on the SAT with a score of 740 in reading and 700 in writing. My examinations at Georgetown consisted almost entirely in essay form. I have experience writing in concise format (2-3 pages) and long-form (15-20 pages), as well as essay lengths in between. I believe it is extremely important to tailor tutoring sessions to each individual student, accenting strengths while shoring up weaknesses. Above all, I aim to ensure that my tutoring sessions help students to achieve their personal goals and ends.

Hobbies
As a former track and field athlete, I enjoy running every day, always changing up my routes to explore more of Washington. I am also a bit of a technology nerd. I build and repair PC computers in my spare time, and I always try to keep abreast of the latest technological news and movements. I am very passionate about coaching at the high school level, whether it be in an academic sport (such as debate) or an athletic one, I simply love working with students and pushing them to achieve and experience their personal bests.
