Hi student! I guess I'd say my twin pillars of teaching wisdom are as follows: 1) Know the subject backwards and forwards so I can explain every aspect and 2) Joke around a bit so the student doesn't get bored I don't like to be 100% serious for the whole lesson because I know you'll start to get sleepy, possibly falling off your chair or spilling coffee all over, and we don't want that. Also, I want you to look forward to our next lesson. Anyway, here are my qualifications: -a degree from Stanford in Biology with a pre-med concentration -11 years of tutoring experience -a pretty good sense of humor -just oceans of patience -did I mention I went to Stanford I can teach biology, chemistry, algebra/geometry/trigonometry/calculus, SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT. Also, believe it or not, salsa dancing. I can teach at your place, my place, or any public place, whichever is most convenient, and my schedule is quite flexible at the moment. Let's get started!
