I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park. I have a Masters of Science in Mathematics from George Mason University. I have taught at local colleges and community colleges in the DC metro area for several years. I regularly teach Calculus I,II, and III, Precalculus, Statistics, as well as Linear Algebra.

I have worked as a tutor both privately as well as at tutoring centers. I know what it takes to be successful in Mathematics and am passionate about sharing my interest in the subject. Math anxiety seems to keep a lot of students from achieving success. In my spare time I enjoy working with my children on math puzzles and products as well as keeping up to date with relevant mathematics education innovation. My son recently began learning about fractions, which is a transitional time for the Math learner. I work hard to make sure he feels confident when he enters the classroom in order to ensure success that he can build on!
