Private tutor in Washington, DC
Education

Experience
I have taught before (introductory french to 8th graders at the prep school I attended), and have experience teaching/ instructing in less organized situations as well. I am not certain of my SAT score (cannot remember nor find, but it's either 680, 650, 650 - writing, reading, math, respectively, or 680, 680, 650 - same order). I have only taken one ACT and it was not official: I took it a year ago as a practice run to see how I would do (the ACT score was a 33). Regarding my LSAT score, I did not do great when I took the exam (162, 85th percentile), but had been repeatedly scoring around 170-172 in practice exams and have a strong grasp of the concepts. I have always really enjoyed teaching. I care a great deal about my tutees' success, and I think that an investment in and focus on others is hugely important in tutoring. Secondly, I genuinely enjoy working with others and think there's no greater feeling than helping others succeed, an outlook that I also think is important to a tutoring career!
