Experience
Experienced in Latin, English, and writing, I help each student build a foundation of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. Once they master fundamental concepts, my students can expand their knowledge and achieve success. I make each tutoring session as collaborative and fun as possible. Each student has their own strengths and individual weaknesses; I fine tune my strategy for each.I also needed tutoring in middle and high school. As someone who once struggled, I can relate to my students. I found success later on. The University of Notre Dame is where I completed my undergraduate Classics and Art History degree. I got in on a swimming scholarship and emerged as a magna cum laude. At the University of Texas at Austin, I earned an Art History M.A., focusing on Roman art/archaeology, and graduated in 2009. Following grad school, where I worked as a teaching assistant, I took a job teaching 7th and 8th grade Latin. In May 2014, I graduated law school at the University of Texas. I am now a law clerk at a federal court. I cherish my legal career but still find gratification in tutoring youngsters. I enjoy books, movies, and the Chicago Bulls in my spare time.
