I've been working as an Analytical Chemist for 5 years, with an additional two years working as a researcher in a Biochemistry-Cancer treatment laboratory. I tutored for three years while in college, for General Chemistry as well. I love teaching and enjoy helping others learn and understand chemistry. Aside from my love for science; I am a pretty active person. I am a avid yogi, as well as an ultramarathoner. I recently moved to the D.C./Virginia area with my husband and our dog, Sarabi; who we enjoy spending lots of quality time outside with hiking and camping. I am also the eldest of four, with two other younger sisters on my husband's side; with lots of little cousins as well. Since I was the resident science expert in the family, I got a lot of experience working with all ages, all topics in Chemistry/Biology and can assure you, no one in the family continued to struggle with science after I worked with them and spent time to ensure they gained the understanding in order to succeed!
