Experience

I've been working as an Analytical Chemist for 5 years, with an additional two years working as a researcher in a Biochemistry-Cancer treatment laboratory. I tutored for three years while in college, for General Chemistry as well. I love teaching and enjoy helping others learn and understand chemistry. It's not always easy, but I've found tips and tricks that can help you understand and remember the topics!

Hobbies

Aside from my love for science; I am a pretty active person. I am a avid yogi, as well as an ultramarathoner. I recently moved to the D.C./Virginia area with my husband and our dog, Sarabi; who we enjoy spending lots of quality time outside with hiking and camping. I am also the eldest of four, with two other younger sisters on my husband's side; with lots of little cousins as well. Since I was the resident science expert in the family, I got a lot of experience working with all ages, all topics in Chemistry/Biology and can assure you, no one in the family continued to struggle with science after I worked with them and spent time to ensure they gained the understanding in order to succeed!
