I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching a variety of different subjects. I graduated from the George Washington University with a bachelor's degree in religious studies. I also minored in history. I am currently in the process of completing a master's degree in elementary education from the College of Wooster. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of areas, including reading, writing, American history, European history, World history, social studies, English, and math. I am also available to help students write and edit collegiate level essays. My philosophy as a tutor emphasizes creating an atmosphere for my students that makes learning enjoyable. I want them to want to learn. One way to achieve this is through encouraging them. I have two years of experience helping to create industry specific educational webinars and seminars. During college, I was very active in an a capella group and choir. My goal as a tutor is to help students reach their full potential. It is obviously important for them to succeed in the course I'm helping them with, but the goal is to help them develop skills that they can carry with them into the future. In my free time, I enjoy music and reading.
