I attended Oregon State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, and went on to complete a PhD in Political Science and Government at the University of Cincinnati. During college, I was a teaching assistant, a research assistant, and I independently taught some classes. I am employed now by the US Department of Education as a research analyst, and I volunteer for a nonprofit as a tutor for low-income students.
