Experience
I earned my bachelor's in environmental biology from the University of Dayton. While enrolled at UD, I gained valuable tutoring and teaching experience firsthand. I worked with my classmates to improve their grasp of biology and science subjects. I provided homework support and essay editing to ensure that they could achieve their best results. I volunteered to tutor inner-city children through a community outreach program. Along with tutoring the students, I conducted research to write my thesis on the beneficial impact of education. After graduation, I worked as a tutor, an intern for the EPA, and as a teacher in Ecuador. I am fluent in Spanish, allowing me to tutor students in English as a Second Language (ESL), as well as Spanish literature and culture. I can prepare students for their standardized tests, such as the SAT and ACT, while building their self-confidence on the material. I strive to provide dedication, passion, and creativity through personalized learning. When I'm not tutoring or expanding my knowledge, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love to go running and dancing, as well as hiking. I practice my Spanish and French language skills while exploring their cultures, art, and literature. I enjoy reading and crafting as well.
