Education

University of Maryland-College Park - Bachelor of Science, Mathematics

Experience

I'm currently attending college at the University of Maryland, where I'm pursuing degrees in secondary education and math. I've been learning about the benefits of inquiry-based instruction, so use a lot of indication my tutoring sessions to help students talk through concepts and understand them. I've been awarded with a Noyce Scholarship, so I will be teaching for two years after a graduate at a high need school. I'm very honored to have this opportunity. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in calculus, trigonometry, algebra, English, grammar, essays, multivariable calculus, pre-algebra, public speaking, test preparation for the SAT, and others. When I have spare time, I enjoy reading, singing, playing the piano and clarinet, and writing.
