Experience

I love learning, and my goal is to help my students develop a love of learning as well. I believe there is no teaching approach that works for every student, so I identify the way my student learns best and then teach them that way. I'm adept at taking difficult concepts and breaking them down into segments that are easier for students understand. My tutoring specialties are in the language arts, specifically with helping students become better writers and readers. Subjects I tutor include essay writing and editing, phonics, English grammar, ESL, and test preparation for the GED, PSAT, LSAT, SAT, and ACT. In my free time, I like to cook, read, draw, and sing. I'm also interested in young adult literature, sci-fi and fantasy, animation, and comic books.
