I have been teaching French, German, English and Yoga for more than 15 years. After my MBA at the “EM Lyon” School of Management (France), I moved to Germany where I started my career as the Event Marketing Officer of an international sporting goods company. My passion for human development inspired me to take responsibility for the training department. In this function I developed and taught multiple courses in leadership, management and communication. After this I worked many years as the Chief of Communication and Fundraising for a children’s rights organization committed to implementing programs in Africa, while establishing my own business as a language instructor. I am experienced with corporate groups, one-on-one sessions and language classes with adults, teenagers and children, for whom I developed a specific interactive curriculum. I have been teaching in renowned language schools, community colleges and in public schools (kindergarten, elementary). I am currently teaching as well at the Alliance Française. I will introduce you to the French or German language and culture; help you to improve your oral and written communication skills with participative teaching. I will support you so you can learn to the best of your abilities, at your own rhythm, and in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Together, we can prepare your Language Proficiency Test. I use authentic materials: children books, songs, TV programs, movies and magazines for teens and a lot of interactive games and activities that make learning grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation very fun! Our French and German courses are tailored to your requirements so that you get the results you are looking for as quickly as possible. Military Married to an US Air Force Officer who served abroad, I have a good understanding of military needs when it comes to learn a foreign language. To facilitate your schedule, we can plan your lesson at Ft Belvoir, Ft Myer, Bolling AFB or at the Pentagon.
