I have experience as a Teacher's Assistant at Michael's Academy for SAT prep and tutoring. I have also instructed dance classes for Middle School students as a volunteer. My strengths include properly structured essay writing, English literature, English grammar, Critical reading/analysis, Civics & U.S. Government, and Social Studies. Relevant Classes that I have taken The English Drama, The Romantic Movement, History of U.S. Foreign Policy, European History, and other writing intensive courses such as African International Politics. I am also fluent in Korean and am currently studying Arabic. Tutoring in Korean is also available. My employment history includes working as a Political Intern for Congressman Rothman and as a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Assistant at the Peace Corps. I recently came back from a study abroad program in Fez, Morocco with a 4.0 GPA. Everybody can learn and excel with encouragement and the right kind of help. Catering to the individual student's educational need while challenging his/her studies is how I like to tutor my students. Teaching the subject content is important, but I also believe that teaching good study habits and organization is crucial to building a successful academic career. Let's work together!

Hobbies
My hobbies are taking walks, visiting museums, cooking and trying new cuisines, and reading poetry. I am a news junkie. I am also working on a new campus project called DC Peace Quest.
