Melissa M.
Private tutor in Washington, DC
Education
Grad Student other major at Georgetown University
Experience
Previous tutoring experience includes tutoring ESL students at my undergraduate university in 2007. Sunday School teacher for pre-school and kindergarten students for 3 years. In addition, I have tutored college students in comparative politics at my undergraduate university. I also have helped tutor both my younger sisters in Algebra, Geometry, Spanish, History, and some of the sciences. Education, in my eyes, is the most important investment for any student and I want to be a tutor to help further the investment of education in students' lives. I am very strong in tutoring Spanish, particularly the basics and more advanced language questions. In addition, I may need a little time to recollect my algebra and geometry, but I do enjoy helping students with math as well. I also am willing to help students learn to edit and improve their writing skills. Currently, I am a first-year graduate student at Georgetown University, and working towards my M.A. in Latin American Studies. I received my undergraduate degree in International Studies and Spanish.
