Private tutor in Washington, DC

Education

Sophomore Political Science major at Howard University

Experience

In high school because I was a year ahead in math I would tutor my peer on the math they were currently in. Basically in Texas we have a state wide test which acts as a benchmark in which you need to pass it in the 4th, 8th and 11th grade to graduate. However, these test were administered every year in every grade level so you still had to take one every year. There were four main subjects for testing: science, social studies (history), english and math. In both math and social studies because of my advancement in the subjects and understanding I was a tutor every year for those in grades above and below myself. My strengths are in the history field and math in elementary, middle and high school. However, I am able to tutor in a lot of different subjects other than that. My resume can be submitted upon request. Relevant classes: AP History AP Government Algebra I and II Geometry Pre-Calculus AP English
