Gaspard L.

Private tutor in Washington, DC

Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature (cum laude) Bachelor of Music in Music Composition GPA: 3.76

I have been tutoring young children, high-school students, and college students for 8 years and thoroughly enjoy it. I am a native French speaker, raised in a French family that moved back and forth between Paris and the United States. My approach to tutoring has always been to assess each students' strengths and weaknesses in order to design a comprehensive learning plan that will get you speaking and writing in no time. I prefer to teach without the use of English when possible, but will work with students to get to this point as quickly as possible. I am extremely friendly and have the best French accent on the East Coast, guaranteed. Hire me!

I enjoy swimming in the lake, playing soccer, singing, and playing various instruments including piano, guitar, and didgeridoo. I am a classically trained composer, but enjoy playing jazz and rock as well. As a composer, I work on commission for a small company called Blue Noise.
