Matt P.
Private tutor in Washington, DC
Education
I am a rising senior American Studies and Music double major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have a 3.7 GPA, and I am in the American Studies Honors Program.
Experience
In the past, I have tutored at the local elementary school in Chapel Hill, I have volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, and I have taught guitar lessons. I am living in Washington D.C. for the summer where I will be teaching at the National Museum of the U.S. Navy, as well as tutoring students independently. I am currently writing an Honors Thesis for my American Studies major so I have experience writing analytically and doing research. My American Studies major has also given me a strong background in American History and American Literature. I am a member of The Golden Key International Honors Society and the National Honors Society. Through my Music major, I am also knowledgable about music history and music theory, and I would be more than willing to teach guitar lessons.
