VIETNAM Camp: Vietnam International High School Volunteering Team (May 2010) -Assisted low income communities by providing free food and living materials. -Taught English to 10 to 15 children and provided world vision of 21st century. -Organized volunteering team and assigned missions to five different groups. SOUL CLASS -Academic Best: Second Place(March-December 2009) -Developed academic vision and abilities in order to compete with other highly intelligent students. -Prepared materials for teachers and organized classroom to create positive learning environment for students. -Tutored 2-5 students each month to improve their scores in Korean, math, and English courses. UPPER MATH CLASS -Specialized Math Skills(March-December 2009) -Developed advanced university level math skills. -Advised 40 students on improving test scores by answering questions and suggesting solutions. -Gained the diploma of Upper Math Class which is considered as the certification for the advanced abilities of Mathematics. SAT: scored 2020 AP: Achieved 5 on Calculus BC test. I worked as a tutor during this summer, and I found it is a very attractive job for me. I can get to know younger students and can help them improve their scores. It was such a heartwarming experience. Hopefully I can continue to be a tutor and help even more students.
