Received "Professionally Proficient" ratings in Arabic from both of the Arabic proficiency tests administered by the Department of State and the Department of Defense. I have that rating in all skill areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I am also professionally proficient in Moroccan, Syrian, and Egyptian dialects. Egyptian is a particular strong suit as I have a background in Egyptian Arabic phonetics that helps learners get rid of their accent when speaking!
