I have no formal tutoring experience, but I am very passionate about youth and education as a means to promote peaceful behavior and good interpersonal communication skills. I am a political science major but I am very passionate about American history and I am conversational (almost fluent) in Spanish as well. I would love to be a tutor because I believe that children can learn very valuable lessons about interpersonal communication and develop skills for dealing with problems through education. I have been working with kids since I was a teenager, both through babysitting and as a sales representative/manager at a local toy store in my hometown. I believe that my attention to detail and strong academic skills will make me an excellent tutor.
