Success in school often comes not merely from memorizing material, but from understanding the inherent structure of the material, and thus forming a method for applying the material to a new problem. I did not excel at school because I did not understand this. As a practicing lawyer, I discovered this critical component to learning a variety of subject areas, and I want to teach others.
