Private tutor in Washington, DC

Education

Hi; I'm Mark, a graduate student at the University of Maryland, where I am currently working on finishing my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics (I previously obtained my Master's degree in the same program). I hail previously from Ohio, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University (with minors in Mathematics and Management).

Experience

My peers and colleagues tend to regard me as an outgoing people-person, and previous students I have tutored with have all enjoyed working with me (people have sometimes referred to me as giving off a "midwestern hospitality" vibe). Tutoring has been one of my favorite jobs to date; it's a rewarding experience to be able to share and receive instant feedback, something which, having worked several semesters as a Teaching Assistant for various economics classes, is much harder to do outside of the one-on-one setting. GRE scores: 780 (Math), 710 (Verbal), 5.5 (Writing) AP Calculus: 5
