Private tutor in Washington, DC

Education

Brown University, B.A. Social Psychology Northeastern Law School, J.D. Maryland Institute College of Art, M.A. Social Design

Experience

I like tutoring because I enjoy working with kids and helping them get past their struggles and increase their confidence. I especially enjoy helping kids with disabilities. This is because of my ability to connect with them due to my own disability. As someone who was tutored myself, I understand how rewarding the tutoring process can be for the student. My experience as a tutor and mentor in both college and law school helped my develop the necessary skills to connect with students and develop methods that work best for them. In addition, I have spent many years coaching students from age six through adults. I am a published author for a variety of media - online, magazines, academic journals and books.
