Cornell University - BA, Mathematics

Experience

I tutored all through my high school and college years in a range of subjects. During that time, I would help students with algebra to college level math. I'm also well-versed in geometry, calculus, trigonometry, but also other levels ranging from elementary and middle school math up to multivariable calculus. If you need test prep help for the SSAT, SAT, PSAT, or GRE, I am the tutor of choice. It genuinely excites me to help people learn math and gain confidence in their abilities to master concepts and solve problems.I hope that they not only learn to find the right answer, but how to arrive at that answer and grasp the concepts need to do so. Tutoring, or just talking about, math is fun for me and I always hope that reflects in my students. I have a degree in mathematics from Cornell University and minored in education and music. To pursue my master's in education, I moved to Washington D.C. to attend American University. I taught secondary math in the city during the 2014-2015 school year.Aside from mathematics, my other interests and passions lie in music, theater, and singing. I enjoy these to my fullest in my spare time.
