Private tutor in Washington, DC

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - BS, Biology

I attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, I moved to the DC area, where I am ready to get started tutoring. So, here I am. I currently hold a degree in both chemistry and biology. I have worked as a teacher's assistant for an introduction to biology course. While working as a TA, I spent a lot of time lecturing and teaching review sessions to my students. Along with working as a TA, I kept busy by collaborating with other teachers and performing education-based research. I am currently offering my tutoring services in any type of science subject. I have worked with students at the high school and college level. I am also willing to tutor students in mathematics and test preparation, both subjects that I have prior experience in. When I am not tutoring or teaching, I can be found watching the Food Network and attempting to recreate the dishes that are showcased on some of my favorite cooking shows. My goal is to help students excel in whatever areas they're currently struggling in. As for my own personal goal, I hope to attend graduate school and acquire my doctorate in biology. I hope to one day be a college professor.
