Experience

I attended Ohio State University for my law degree. Prior to that I earned a master's degree in teaching from Johns Hopkins University and an agricultural economics and philosophy bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State. As a teacher, I have taught second-grade, and I've been a math specialist for K - eight students. As a tutor, I have about nine years of experience, including teaching refugees in the Baltimore area. I'm comfortable working with students of any age and level of ability, and I'm dedicated to helping them reach their goals and develop a better understanding of the subjects that I tutor. I can tutor students in algebra, elementary and middle school math, reading, writing, essays, literature, English grammar, study skills, public speaking, and test preparation for the ACT and other exams. In my spare time, I enjoy watching college football, playing video games, reading and learning on my own, and playing the guitar and the drums.
