Experience
I believe that if someone is truly passionate about a subject, they will make every effort to spread their interests to as many people as possible. As an expert on the Latin language, I enjoy cultivating the same passion I feel for this subject within my students. One of the most interesting things about Latin is that it forms the root of many words in the English language. This, coupled with ample experience in the subject of writing, allows me to tutor students not only in Latin, but also in strengthening their ability to express themselves in English. Using these skills, my students are able to stand out when writing for not only the SAT and other standard tests, but also essays and general work. In terms of teaching experience, I served as the tutor for the entire Classical Studies Department during my senior year at university. Before that, I have been helping students learn Latin and Italian since I myself was a sophomore student in high school. I graduated from Seton Hall University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies with a second major in Theology. I am currently pursuing an education at The Catholic University of America in the M.A./Ph.D. program in Philosophy. I love to fish, cook, and travel.
